Terms & Conditions

This is a draft template — it has not been reviewed by an Oman-licensed lawyer and should not be published live until it has been.

Naqila is an electronic intermediary platform that lists independent, licensed car-transport companies. Naqila is not the actual carrier — every trip is carried out by the company you book with. This document is a valid, enforceable electronic contract under the Electronic Transactions Law promulgated by Royal Decree No. 39/2025.

1. Bookings and pricing

Prices are set by each transport company and shown in Omani Rial (OMR). A booking is confirmed only once the company accepts your request. Under the Consumer Protection Law promulgated by Royal Decree No. 66/2014, prices must be displayed clearly and honestly, and no amount above the advertised price may be charged without your consent.

2. Vehicle condition and liability

You must accurately describe your vehicle's condition at booking. The Operator's custody of your vehicle during transport is governed by the deposit (wadi'ah) provisions of the Civil Transactions Law promulgated by Royal Decree No. 29/2013, which require it to safeguard the vehicle and return it as received, and to carry valid insurance under the Vehicle Insurance Law No. 34/1994. No clause here may fully exempt the Operator from liability for a harmful act, per Article 183 of the Civil Transactions Law.

3. International transport

Cross-border transport is subject to customs regulations and requirements of each country and may change without notice. Confirm document and customs requirements with your chosen company before booking international transport.

4. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Sultanate of Oman, whose courts have jurisdiction over any dispute, unless the parties agree in writing to arbitration under the Law of Arbitration in Civil and Commercial Disputes promulgated by Royal Decree No. 47/1997 (as amended by Royal Decree No. 3/2007), seated in Muscat.
